Breeze Banking: Next Generation Banking in India

Standard Chartered Bank India wants to acquire new base of younger Indian customers with its next generation credit card and savings account products in India to meet the demand of young and savvy consumers. Through an online application form, new and successful applicants will be notified with an instant approval notification.

The Solution

A new website was developed to showcase the Standard Chartered Bank’s Breeze Banking products with an online application form. The Information Architecture and content strategy were created to enhance the overall user experience and drive the users down the conversion path (front and back-end development with integration).

A/B testing and re-marketing was deployed to optimise the content through the Omniture (now acquired by Adobe Systems) and drive conversion rate.

The Results

The following results have created a benchmark for the rest of the bank for its design/content and technology:

  • Website views +100%

  • Acquisition rate +520%

  • ‘Apply Now’ CTR 5%+ (one of the highest within the bank)
